Dallas ~ On-Location Rendezvous

I am so excited to announce the dates for our Dallas On-Location Rendezvous: March 5th and 6th, 2010!



The Fine Art Boudoir Photography Rendezvous sessions will be held in an a-m-a-z-i-n-g hotel! Here are some sneak peeks of the rooms that I am currently deciding between. I thought it would be fun to get some feedback from you all while I am making my final decision!

Fine Art Boudoir Photograpy ~ Danielle V.

Danielle is one of my brides to be and also the little powerhouse that will be my legs, eyes, and ears for the planning of my Fine Art Boudoir Photography Rendezvous that will take place in France next year. I adore the gorgeous lingerie that Danielle wore for the first half of her session and also that she came armed with some props of her own for the session (See tip below).

Danielle was my first session of the day for the Inn at the Price Tower Sessions so I had a lot of fun letting her choose from my props goodie bag for her session! Enjoy...

Although I come armed with a wide array of props for any Fine Art Boudoir Photography session, I encourage you to bring props that are personal to you and will make your session reveal who you are and what is special to you and your Love. Danielle will soon be moving to France to begin her new life with her Love and she brought this beautiful antique French novel to incorporate into her session - perfect!

Fine Art Boudoir Photography ~ Session Tips

As I have been editing each session, I have been compiling a list of things that will help you in preparing yourself for your Fine Art Boudoir Photography session and thought that I would begin posting them here on my blog and on my Facebook Fan Page. So here is the official kickoff of my first round of Fine Art Boudoir Photography ~ Session Tips! I many more where this one came from so stay tuned...

Tip #1
When planning what you will wear on the way to your session - think loose clothing. Non constricting dresses, loose pants, and flip flops are best when dressing for your session. Also keep in mind that tight undergarments are not recommended. The reasoning behind this is that tight, form fitting clothing can leave unflattering imprints on your skin that can last for a good majority of your session. Although this can be edited out, it is best to plan ahead and prevent what can be prevented.

Fine Art Boudoir Photography ~ Kristi B.

This session is very special to me. Kristi is not the size 6 that our society has come to decide is the "ideal" image of the perfect woman. I am so happy about Kristi's Fine Art Boudoir Rendezvous Session because I receive so many e-mails from women who are concerned about their weight, but really want to do a session. I hope that this gallery shows that all women are beautiful, not just the "perfect" size 6's of the world. Thanks to Kristi for your faith in me!

The stunning red and black lingerie that Kristi is wearing for the first half of the session came from the website Hips and Curves. Hips and Curves specializes in lingerie for curvy women, such as Kristi, and they have a gorgeous array of corsets, bras, and lingerie to choose from!

Fine Art Boudoir Photography ~ Jade B.

I knew the moment that I met Jade that we were going to have an incredible session! Jade came fully prepared with a suitcase full of lingerie, pose ideas, and her own Ipod full of music to help her make the most of her session. In a word - perfect!

I like to tell me clients that attitude is everything and it can make or break a session and I can say if Jade has anything it is attitude...

Some of you may recognize her from previous postings; Christa is the rockin' hairstylist from Marilyn Ihloff Salon and Day Spa that is part of our On-Location Rendezvous staff. Not only is Christa a talented stylist, these photos show that she is a complete knock out!

In addition to Christa, Chelsea from Wild Magnolia Artistry, and my talented assistant Lacy, our staff has now grown to include a Client Liason, Carissa. Whether your On-Location Rendezvous session is held in an amazing boutique hotel or in a breathtaking art deco mansion, our Rendezvous sessions are completely unique and are guaranteed to create stunning images.

The Inn at the Price Tower is located in Bartlesville, OK and is a stunning structure. The skyscraper was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright and has been lovingly restored to the splendor of it's heyday. If you have never been a guest at the Inn at the Price tower, do yourself a favor and plan a weekend getaway! Bartlesville is full of small town charm and has some great activities to keep you busy during your stay. Whether you enjoy a martini in the rooftop Copper Bar at the Price Tower or grab the BEST calamari you have ever tasted at Frank & Lola's restaurant, you will have an unforgettable experience!

One thing I really love about my Fine Art Boudoir sessions is that it allows me to chronicle my shoe obsession. How great are these heels?
